Caritrahin: Characterless

Hi, I'm Hemnoliny, a university student. Currently doing bachelors in chemistry. Love to read books. Have fascination in dance. Don't have any notable skills. Just a breathing human being.

Saratchandra's novel "Caritrahin" explores themes of love, religious orthodoxy, and societal judgment. The overarching theme is the burden of loving someone who should not be loved according to societal standards.

The story revolves around characters who adhere to religious rules while also questioning their validity. Misunderstandings, pride, and love are central to the narrative. The character Kiranmoye is particularly complex, while Satish is depicted as cool but strictly religious. The novel includes references to Hindu religious orthodoxy, which may seem excessive to some readers.

This series is about books. Mostly Bangali books.
